I call this one "Groptimus".

I think I need to do a few more serious ones, instead of constant references.

Grot no.7

I call this one Jason Sgrot.

Because its a red Power Ranger.

Get it?

I'm going to start veering away from direct culture references for a bit and make some more general themed Grots. The next one nearly finished will be a Pirate, and I;ve started work on a custom Red Gobbo. My eye after that will towards Makari, and then other Grot characters I can think of.

HAHA those are nice and funny, GJ!

I was actually thinking about re-doing my Harlequins in Power rangers theme (the are poker theme right now, very boring).

The Grots get a major power boost today.
BEHOLD! The GROTANAUT!

My friend Chris managed to break his wrist, so he commissioned me to build a few genestealers Cults models for him, and whilst at it he had me make some special stuff.

To start, for huis basic units, he needed more Heavy Rock Saws, so I duig out some Ork bits and mitbashed some.



Next, a "unique" Iconward made from a Commisar.



Next of all, he wanted a special Primus, and gave me the inspiration of a Tech-Priest Electro-Guy-Whose-Name-I-Can't-Remember. The them I went for was to remove the generator, and add on a liquid bottle instead, giving it the impression that the pipes are pumping weird Gene-Cult fluids into him and mutating him. I still need to a little work here, as he is unfortunately missing his Needle Pistol.



Finally, a few things from the Bits Vox for a custom Nexos, with holographic planet.

Those custom gsc models are awesome, and I especially love your holographic planet.

But really though, that Grotanaut might be the single coolest model I've ever seen
