Drukhari Camo?!

Fellow Denizens:

What are your thoughts on camo patterns for our troops and vehicles?

There are plenty of camo stencils online for use with airbrushes, and I wanted to find one that suited our faction.

From the codex: The Venom has a "holographic flickerfield " to confound enemy marksmen.

I know there's something similar that the Harlequins have on their infantry armor too.

Because of this I was thinking a "Shard" Camo like this:


I also think a Digi Camo would work, but perhaps it looks too much like modern military camo IRL:


Now of course there is also the "classic" hex pattern people like to do while airbrushing, but I don't see where that comes from...

Thoughts?

I mean it could look, but i would pick some purple/blue colors or something, DE raids out of WWP's, at night, etc.. something to take advantage, if you can fit those themes that be great.

Do a test paint and show us.

I don't have the stencils, I was just wondering if anyone else had ideas/experience with camo.

For colors I was thinking a Kabal of the Black Heart theme, so varying shades of that turquoise/green color.

Looking at those bottom stencils, it seems like you could use them to create a sort of 'digital glitching' effect. That might work for a Flickerfield.

You can print them out yourself and cut them, go to an arts and craft store they will have the paper you want.
