I've seen some really nice red transparent canopies for venoms/razorwings done before, but I'm not sure what the best paints to use would be to replicate the effect myself. Can anyone share some pointers? Thanks in advance.

When I looked into it, if I recall correctly the tutorials I found said to use thin coats of red glaze. I wasn't able to replicate their results and gave up very quickly rather than experiment with it a bit.

Red glazes seem like worth giving a shot, I'll try those out.

for my canopies i use Tamiya Clear Red. I just apply it with a brush, let it dry and after like 2 or 3 houers apply the next coat and that 3 to 4 times.
