2K Wych Main

This is an attempt to make a Wych Cult heavy list work in 9th.  I'm not entirely sure what that route looks like, but i think it involves holding the middle or locking infantry on Primaries.  I'll Admit, the Reapers are an afterthought.

Complete Noob here so my comments can be safely ignored But I *like* Wyches so regardless of Win/Lose/Draw this list seems fluffy and my only critique might be a lack of enough transports for the troops ? Though with the smaller table size maybe that's not a problem.

Try this list and let us know how it does ?

Mostly pepper them with AT weapons before locking them with Wyches and letting ToS kick in.

It may not be obvious from the set up, but the one Raider is the custom Cult, intended to carry the 10 strong Kabalites.

Have you gone against Tanks/Monsters with Heavy Flamer equivalents? I find that they wreck the Cult units, even after you make that initial charge :/

Thats why I dropped my Cult detachment anyway.

Yes, and so far i've been able to eat up Flamers and Heavy Flamers with the Clawed Fiends or Reavers. Nothing like a Long-Ranged Marksmanship Salamanders Successor Chapter yet. But, ObSec is such a powerful ability. I am having trouble seeing where the line between too many ObSec models and not enough is at 2,000 points.
