Meddling with a Fluff-Campaign

Hey folks!
I got a situation at hand and it has a bit of a timelimit.
A buddy of mine is kinda the Gamemaster of a Fluff-campaign. That goes for quite some time now,
And how I understand it, it differs greatly from the Crusade-rules.
Hmm, 2 of the members clash together at Sunday, about 1500-1800pts each. And the table will be big.
72×48", I believe, with a cramped ruinsite, a swamp, I think and, well, something else...

So, why am I telling you this? He told the 2 contenders, he might build in an extra surprise.
And what could this little surprise be? Right! Its a small ESE force, led by yours truly: Me.

Not that big to possibly win, but nasty enough, that they might throw their dice after me. His words, not mine...
Wie agreed to 1000pts, but when I asked the detachement-limit, I earned a facepalm and he just said: Drukhari... Sigh...
Then he grinned and said: Do more than 2 and they have to deploy each one differently.

And thats about my situation. I already thought about a fluffy list and its only one detachement.
I built a MSR. A Mini-Space-Raid. Nothing too fancy, but with some goodies. After all, Im not supposed to win, just to meddle.

What I shouldnt know: The main players are Tyranids and T'au. So I choose PT.
What I already put into account: I get the same amount of CP as the others.

I would like your thoughts about it. Whatever comes to mind. Would be nice, so thanks in advance.
