Official Flickerfield Consecutive Save Streak

In a recent game I passed 6 consecutive FF saves - all on the 1 Venom too LOL - the 7th shot cut through but only resulted in Weapon Destroyed. The squad then flew up, dismebarked and charged.......opponent was not happy.....

My streak: 6

My 2nd Blasterborn Venom has a distinct penchant for staying alive. It's survived 2 games in a row (though its SCs have been blown off a couple) and it certainly wasn't due to lack of 'attention'. I didn't keep count but we're easily talking 10 or 11 saves in a row here (if one doesn't count the results that don't amount to OMFGWE'REDEAD).

Hah, that reminds me of that tie a single rickety Venom helped to achieve in a team 2k points tournament.

We had a pretty rough game, my Tau teammate's Railheads failed to kill any of the enemy vehicles, so the enemy was mostly mobile. We had ran out of anti tank units, so all I could do was make sure the enemy didn't hold their objective, which was hidden under a large bridge. My only vehicle left was the Venom. It zoomed on the objective across the battlefield, then saved absolutely everything but two weapon destroyed results from an overwhelming amount of incoming fire from almost full-strength Blood Angels and Orks. The ork player jokingly curses the Venom till this very day.

The dice gods were with me in that one.

I official streak was at 8, though it wasn't one vehicle but the entire army for one round. Gotta admit that my streak for rolling 1's and 2's for armor penetration with DL's against Rhinos beat that in the same game

This sounds like my last game, blasters that don't hit and dark lances that get shaken and stunned results on Defilers...which ignore them. Har!

Ha! Hitting isn't my problem-it's the damned armor penetration that my army can't pull off!

My flickerfields have failed me so often I have pretty much altogether stopped buying them.

I did have a streak in a game I played tonight on my venoms. It was only three in a row, but they didn't take a lot of fire. Unfortunately, the blasterborn that were inside said venoms need to get a little time in at the firing range.

well I have only played 3 DE games but my streak = 0
that's right 3 games and I have not made a single flickerfield save. My luck suggests that night shields are better choice for me.

My personal best was 7 consecutive saves for Flickerfield saves. My best non consecutive was like 15-20. Totally blew the Spacewolf player's Razor Lasplas- Longfang spam. Nearly tabled him if not for his last rune priest and Grey Hunters who hid behind a tall windowless buildig.
