| The Third Stage of the Archon's Challenge.
FIREPOWER. We cannot send out warriors into battle with out proper support and firepower. Let the Mon'Keigh believe their lumbering machines and thick sides of steel can protect them. They cannot. We shall show them the folly of their vision.
The harvest will be bountiful indeed.
Stage 3 will be a single Heavy choice available in the Dark Eldar Codex. Additionally, any of the Forge World models, such as the Tantalus are acceptable so long as they take a single heavy slot.
Entry is open until the 5th of May 2012.
All participants must follow the rules as listed. See link
Contest rules
Submit one WIP shot to enter.
May 5th 2012 all WIP entry pictures must be posted in the original thread.
May 8th 2012 all final pictures must be submitted along with WIP photos.
Judging and comment will begin May 9. Best entry will be determined by May 12 2012.
A previously painted model may be used, but you must still enter a beginning WIP picture of the entered model.
All work must be your own. Honor system please.
No comments on anyone's work in this thread. They will be removed. If you wish to comment, please open a thread separately.

To keep with my theme of entries that fly or don't touch the ground:  Base painted:   WIP:  FAIL Real life got in the way  I retreat back to my corner of the webway with a severely wounded ego and thoughts of how to enact revenge on my students for causing this setback....They will pay  Seriously, I plan to finish it up after the school year ends. End of the year crunch and parent-teacher meetings really sucked all of my painting time. Best of luck to the other entries in this round. You guys did some great work!!

I prefer to paint the raider hull in pieces rather than sticking it together first, so my WIP shot is just pieces sitting in a box! =p Pieces on the left are mostly yellow, pieces on the right mostly bronze.... so thats how i organize it. ------------- Didn't quite manage to finish, still eyes and afew details to do, but this is what i got.... And i can't seem to be able to link 2 photo's next to eachother. Sorry!

Im gonna make Ravager with Shock Prow, gonna try OSL on the prow and near engines, also when i get my hands on the masking tape i will also place some tribal scars on the hull.
Will make photos later, it is assembled.
Update.
With new job i wont finish it in time. Count me out, will post in project log later.
