6th ed 1500 competitive list

Reasoning behind every choice:

1) Wyches, even nerfed they could charge through cover and kill something or try to hold an objective with FNP and dodge. I used to play incubi but i don't like them anymore with ap3 klaive. HWG were too much expensive to take and i think i already have plenty anti tank.

2) Scourges can strip away HP from vehicle only glanced by some lances. Reavers are there to pop transport before shot the passengers with the venoms (but i feel like i took too few of them), i could not field the scourges and take 1 more warrior troop. On paper the troop is better tbh (1 lance and 16 poisoned shots VS 2 HWB and 9 poisoned shots).

3) Voidraven and razorwing are the only answer to enemy fliers because of the skyfire rule, so i needed to pick one of those. It's true with the Voidraven i lose 1 SC and 3 missiles, but i gain 1 bomb and the shatterfield to kill termies, while having 1 more front and side armor and str9 lances.

Or drop the wyches and the scourges and bring in a Bloodthirster!

I would drop a trueborn with a blaster... I dont like running them in squads of greater than three if they have a transport anyway

Use those points to snag hwg for your wyches

Use your wyches to surround enemy vehicles and glance them to death

Maybe wait 1 day before Errata?

XD it's a solid list, even without errata. The only thing you would change from 5th would be the PGL on the wyches, which just goes to show that honestly, we aren't going to be effected all that much

Well i wouldn't use the voidraven in the 5th, nor the scourges (and about scourges i'm a bit confused even with 6th edition hull point rules).

Scourges always worked well for me and I used them often. I had mixed success with the VRB, it wasnt bad, but it wasnt amazing either...

WIth the new flier rules, VRB can bring in some pain.


After reading the Faqs, i think i'll drop wyches and archon alltogether
