Here's a little game that's both fluffy and fun.

I had a talk with one of my friends on who I would be from any codex in the 40K universe. The only rules are that you must be able to build him from a 40K codex. I think our next step is to physically build the model and paint them for use in our games. That way, you can actually be on the battlefield!

Oh gosh! It's quite funny cause I settled on a Haemonculus character for the very reason to have some older school players to have a mini to point at and say "Yeah, that right there. That's me on the battlefield." as per the old wording of the HQs. I've got the mini made but not painted. This sounds really fun, though, so...

a technical question:
there is codex: witch hunter and codex: sisters of battle, but these are separate dexes, with ordo hereticus being 4th ed. Can ordo hereticus be taken in to consideration?

Use the current SoB codex.

you didnt get me...the curent sob dex is sisters of battle adepta sorroritas, but there are ordo hereticus, that are a separate thing, for in that, you have access to imperial troops as well, inquisitors, inquisitorial henchmen, etc. In C:SoB, you have eclesiarchs and priests, that are strictly adepta sorroritas.
My question was can i use a 4th ed dex, since ordo hereticus didnt get updated yet? since i want to use a C:OH, not a C:SoB

No because it's a invalid codex and it'll mess up the 2nd part of the exercise!

But I guess you can do it anyway if you want.

If you want an Ordo Hereticus, just use GKs, they have all 3 types of Inquis in there

@Shadows: fluff wyse, ordo hereticus is separate from adepta sorroritas, guess GW didnt think their fluff over then. Anyway, i just though of bringing the old canoness with jetpack
