Tantalus

what FW book is it in and does anyone know if it has a 40k stamp ? Im curious because I absolutely love the model and I want to use one someday.

This is speculation but rumour has it that IA Vol 2 is due to be redone very soon with Apocalypse coming out next month, who knows, the Tantalus may even appear in the actual book. Also IA Vol 2 is no longer available on the FW site.

I found a pdf of it online, which my local group allows us to use in place of books that are no longer in production.

I would consider that a safe bet - generally they tend to keep trying to support the models they have, and it's not like the DE section will exactly be bursting at the seams I suspect.

Even at this stage, considering everything they've ever released for us I think we're at 1 Datasheet and 6 formations or something.

Hopefully they do a better cut and paste job putting this one together than they did with the rushed Aeronautica book. I'd love to see the Tantalus rules clarified a bit, and maybe reprint our Raven with a decent cost and rules that exist?

Tantalus is easily one of the nicest models I've got in my collection, my biggest problem was trying to find a way to get it onto a base.

The base that it comes with is ridiculous, my one is the pride of my army use it whenever I can 12 shots s5 ap2 it alot of fun!
