here you will find the first color test for my kabal. I want to change the way everybody see the DE. Instead of the classical dark color, I go for a Red/bone combinaison. and for the skin, since i want something in contrast, I also go for the Draw dark skin:

Loviing the Wych, fantastically bright and menacing skin tones. Really shows off the scheme!

I finally get time to paint my first kabalite unit. They're mainly 3-4 ed model to which I add some v5 heads and weapons. I have some finish on the hair to do and varnish them.

Here my first 5 wyches. I some finish also but I wanted your comment before.

looks like the sealant you are using is clumping on you a bit.

Not sure if you just need to hold further away from the model, or if it is a bad batch (I hate when that happens).

Here the first 5 wracks for my kabal. I followed the color scheme based on drow skin. In fact this color skin came from an failed experiment from haemonculus ancient who try the transfer the mandrake's ability to move through shadow to the overal kabal.

Hi fellow citizens,

I back to my Voidraven bomber. I've work on the crystal pod and how to fix it.
I had some line over the pod to give it some sort of bones structure.



I also had some gems.




I created a void lance based on a desintegrator cannon plus some ear coton tips.



I still have to do some missile (or get some) and the void mine.

What do you think ?

The crystal and its holding look fantastic. Gems also add loads to the overall feel.

a small update on my progress. I begin to base the voidraven. But since I'm away on holidays, I only pick small unit to painted and I began with some old incubi to which  I try to modify the position a little bit and add a custom klaive (you may try to identify). I've done the base color  and some shading and hilight but I think the model need something else:

For the helmet if you remove the blades on the side and work a bit de painting you could have something nice. What's you color scheme ?
You could also mix with arms and weapon from the recent models.

Buttonsmash letters Purple (Xereus purple) for parts of the armor.

Incubus Darkness for parts of the armor.

Genestealer Purple and White Scar for highlights.

Abaddon Black weapon.

Dheneb Stone with Drakenhof Nightshade skin.

Blue hair (Can't remember color on top of my head)

Other paints were used to. Can't remember them either

Here 2 more venoms done. I have begun to do the kabale glyphs and I still to do some weathering and battle damage.

Did you hand paint those glyphs on? They're really good.

Yes, I try to draw the japanese symbol for "Quest" in various shapes. I will do the same on the voidraven.

that's neat. Most people I know who play DE just do random symbols.
