| Nice work! I magnetize a few things, but usually not individual figures, ..... well, small ones, at least.
If I started doing things like that Solarite, I would never get a army project finished!

| Takes me around 15 - 20 minutes... not much of a deal. Only the wraithguard was a "omg never ever again...maybe" project | |

If I started doing things like that Solarite, I would never get a army project finished! Tell me about it. I saw a guy with Grey Knights and he had every possible weapon magnetized. Every. Possible. Weapon. Note this was 1850 points and he still had more left over.

| The same for me. If there are multiple options, they are all on magnets. | |

| I recently magnetised my wraithguard with sword arms and axe/shield arms (kinda cheated since I bought more arms) How much trouble did you have magnetising the scythe/ cannon? Any advice? | |

| Next to none. It was smoother than I thought. The only things which were annoying:
1) Lots of tiny holes to drill, lots of tiny magnets to hide, taking care that every single magnet has the right direction 2) the arms and the cannons are not universal fit. Some Arms do only fit some Cannons. so you need a system to tell you which arm to put on when equiping specific cannons. I did it with hidden spots of color (where you would glue them normally) so I can see the red arms with the red cannons, the green arms with the green cannons,...

| That solarite looks really good.
I haven't magnetized individual figures, but you're making me rethink that.
I have magnetized raiders, venoms, talos/cronos, and numerous non-DE models. On the raiders I magnetized the sail, the part the sail normally plugs into and the DL/SC on the front. Makes it very easy to store in my foam and honestly only adds about 10 minutes to the build time.

I'm sweet with the drilling of 2mm holes, and I'm heaps pedantic about my magnets orientation. I can take a DL mount from my raider and it'll stick to my Leman Russ turret magnet ;-) Good tip with the ID of individual gun/arm combos, I'll have to borrow that.

| The only infantry models I've magnetised are the Hellions onto the skyboards - it's faffy and horrible to do, and you need really small magnets so they aren't all that strong - but it does make them much easier to transport (albeit a pain to figure out which ones ride which boards - might need to steal the colour spot idea too.
I have also done my ravagers (including chopping the gun barrels off so I can use either dissies or dark lances. This took a while but it does mean when transporting, i can dismantle it to provide: Sail, Sail support assembly, both side gunners, main gunner, pilot and all three weapons as separate parts (yeah, all in one box, when you take it out it looks like some kind of mini space hulk as the magnets all just attach to the nearest other magnetised piece!)

| I magnetized all of the weapons suites and riptide from my tau army. It goes real fast after you get the hang of it. I also just magnetized all of the arms on my talos and will pick up smaller magnets to do the stinger weapons on them. lots of magnets. I also made each weapon for the crisis suites magnetized to mirrored sides on each gun so that if I wanted to I could have 1 plasma on each arm with it right side up. Talk about making sure you get your poles right haha. | |

| Currently I am working on a pain engine that can switch freely between Talos and Cronos (including most weapon variants for both) | |

| I finished magnetising my wraithguard, after I worked out which arm went with which gun it was pretty easy, as the klaivex said. Although, I ended up gluing each arm to its cannon and magnetising both shoulders, so the gun/arm is a single piece. | |

I want to alternate, but I 'm lazy. Thats why I use ebay to get extra sets of arms

You're my new hero I'm pretty careful orienting my magnets for maximum interchangeability, but the number of times one has slipped and glued itself in upside down... A aargh! In related news, I should really get some plastic tweezers :oops One thing I had fun magnetising was the gang-plank on my Raiders. When dudes are riding, it extends and locks into place securely enough to carry a representative from the squad. When they get off, it slides back into the hull for that sleek and deadly look. No need for those hangers on!

| My newest pets. Both full interchangable (all weapons possible and both can either be Talos or Cronos)
