| Does Haemie have the Master of Pain rule? It's written his page, but not listed in his Wargear section | |

| RAW - no, he doesn't. RAI - yeah, he does.
I suspect it will be FAQed...along with some of the other half dozen poorly worked out rules and flubs, but, officially, no, he does not have the rule. that said, I suspect most players and organizers will allow it.
Also, officially it should be under special rules, not wargear.

| Like how Urien Rakarth isn't listed as carrying the Casket of Flensing? | |

| I noticed something last night while looking through the codex. In every case where a special rule or piece of equipment is defined on the datasheet, it is not listed under "special rules" or "equipment" on that datasheet. This includes Dodge on the Succubus and Wyches, Lelith's unique rules, Master of Pain on the Haemonculus, Urien's Casket of Flensing, and Drazhar's unique rules.
This consistency makes me wonder if it isn't a typo, but a really stupid formatting decision? Did somebody decide that if the rule was explained on the datasheet, then it doesn't need to be listed under what the model can actually do?
Can somebody check to see if it's like this in the other 7th ed codexes? I assume they're formatted the same way.

| Interesting.
I can confirm Wolves did it the same way.

| Yeah I was under the impression when a special rule/piece of war gear was explained on a data sheet that it was considered to be part of that model's rules, no question. Orks have done the same thing (or else we're also saying Ork Warbosses DON'T have the WAAAGH! rule), and you're saying Space Wolves do as well so there we go.
'Cause each page of unit description is a "data sheet", right? So the rules on the page are the ones they've got.
Agreed it is far from the best formatting.

I have the iPad edition, and the Haemonculus does have the MoP listed under special rules. This clearly will get revised for the printed version.
