| primary cad Archon: huskblade blaster soultrap haywire shadowfield
6x 5 Kabalite Warriors: blaster
2x 2 Talos, 1 Cronos; haywire spirit probe
detachment 5 Talos; chainflails (scouting)
A very simple premise - deal with 11 MCs or lose. the list has blasters, hayweire and a lot of poison ... not much else.
So FNP from cronos and six blasters, 5 splinter cannons probes and splinter fire from warriors.

| I feel like a smart opponent will just target your chronos first and leave all your taloi without the bonus to their feel no pain. This might be a good list for Urien to show his ugly face and boost a huge spearhead of taloi moving forward. Him plus a unit of grots in a coven detachment might be a better primary. Those taloi are begging for baby grots running around their feet....tentacles....slimy stuff..... | |

| Well you can target the squad ... does not mean I lose the cronos. And FNP kicks in regardless. And those warriors will take overwatch formy MCs ... cannot afford to lose any to overwatch, lol. I feel the list is slow of course but deceptive.

| In that case those kabalites will be rocked as soon as your opponent looks at them rendering your overwatch protection null and void. I think the best way to run max taloi is going to be a null deployment with the 5 taloi as your start and everything else in the army drops as a dark artisan formation and either CAD or coven detachment primary....course then you have 2 formations and one detachment making you illegal for most tourneys.......I think it can be done somehow though..... | |

| I am not oberly worried - it will be tough to take out all those units - my scouting taloi will be in my opponents face turn two and everything else will follow. Talos will have 4++ with the Cronos. I know it is a fun list, btw, but I think it can surprise.

| ....What about 5 scouting taloi with a chronos to buff...Urien...and all deep striking null deployed grots in raiders.......If you are willing to run 3 sources a dark artisan formation? | |

| So we understand each other - I'm well aware that this is not a list likely to win a tournament, lol. But I'm okay with 4++ FNP - with at least some haywire and blasters and with a lot of poison. Is this list a shooty list or an assault list? We know 7ed favours shooting - but assault and shooting combined have their place.

| I'm all about Talos this edition and will be running the 5 talo formation ASAP. Does the archon have a Venom? What is he DSing with? | |
