| Soooo, assuming i'm running the dark artisan formation and my haemonculus is standing up front. Now my unit is shot at with a S8 gun, wounding on 3's due to the haemonculus being T7 for the purposes of rolling-to-wound. BUT if i have to take the wound on the haemon because he's closest to the firer, will he get to roll his FNP because he's treated like being T7 or is he going splat because he's T4 in the unit data sheet?
Cheers! | |

| In the case of Instant Death and being doubled out, it's on a model by model basis. So a S8 shot will kill a Haemy even if he's joined to Grots or in the Dark Artisan Formation. Majority Toughness would only play in for the S8 shot wounding on 3's instead of wounding on 2's. Once the wound is allocated, Majority Toughness isn't applicable. | |

| Anything else would've been too good i assume, but keeping the haemy tucked away safely between the two giant floaties shouldn't be too hard, so that he's never closest from any angle, right? Thanks for clearing that up for me | |

| How about using "Look out Sir" if something with S8 is coming your way? | |

| Either option would do it - or both - if someone does manage to find an angle where he's the closest, you can then try the look out sir - know my luck if i stuck him at the front and tried it I'd roll a 1! | |

That's what i was thinking, why risk a 1/6 chance of failing the Look out, sir if you can solve the problem 99% of the time by placing the models properly. Having the option to LOS is nice, though.

Having the option to LOS is nice, though. I agree with you both and I would suggest to anyone to stick him in the middle of those two big boys. You shouldn't have to worry about look out sir till one dies first.
