Greetings from the land down under

hi all, I'm Dan or Daniuslongbeard as i'm known here.... hailing from a small country town in Australia that first come across this game in its 3rd edition. My older brother and his friends got into 40k after walking into a newly opened store in newcastle out of curiosity...... that was 15+ years ago ha ha ha
I watched him and his friends play for years but it wasnt until much later that i decided to give this game a crack. Naturally i started with guard seeing as thats what my brother collected and i just loved the whole idea of them. After 5ish years of tank weilding guard and a 12 month stint with wolves i have the urge to go evil. Now there is plenty of choice when it comes to 'bad guy armies' GW give you a fair choice, but out of all of them, come on, these guys are the biggest bad asses!!!

I'm a frequent visitor of an imperial guard forum, not that i post much, but it and the guys who post there have been amazing advisors and tactitions and have helped my guard army become a potent killing mass of blast templates and lasgun fire.
Though i have posted here a few times already, its that kind of help and inspiration i'm here looking for and already members here have been a great help.
I've already discovered the DE are alot different than i expected and i have alot more than i thought to learn. The main thing is, i'm here to stay and turning to the dark side never felt so good
