Campain planetary strike

Im about to start a campain, and the few rules are
750pts
No named hq's
no vehicles unless its a dedicated transport
allowed to DS all units, and any unit with the DS rule can assult after DSing
Can choose WL trait.
we get 1hq 1elite 2troops

Archon
-Haywire, Power Sword, Shadowfield, Armor of Misery
Warlord Trait: Thinking about the Personal Chart and the one that gives it will not die and fearless(?)

This is my list, I know there will be a lot of A14 running around a couple flying Troop Transports, and Not a high amount of psi. running around.

My goal is to get Incubi withHQ and Wyches into assult Asap while warriors kill armor and troops trying to take objectives.

What do you all think?

In Planetstrike a vehicle having DS does not allow units to assault out of it - is it different for your campaign?

Yes, my shop made a lot of special rules.

Personally I wouldn't bother with Hydra G upgrade, change DL for blasters for the Kabalites, choose the 2nd Dark Eldar trait for warlord and with points saved upgrade Wych Venom to additional SC and another Incubi (or go Agonizer for Archon + enhanced sails if grabbing objectives for Raiders?)

What's the plan? Hide Wych venom & Archon with Incubi out of LOS then DS raiders? If so, no need for DL??

With raiders i wanted to hide them somewhere i could get that 2 up cover save. Then blast the vehicles to death then move them up. The wyches and hq deathball to destroy non hq and troops. While the 2 venoms kill terminator units and hq guards

With the new build:
Hq
Lost the haywire but gained the agonizer

Troops
Lost the DL but gained blasters
Wyches lost the HG but the venom gained the second SC

Pretty solid!

Not sure re your meta but came across a foot slogging Guard army the other day behind aegis gunline. I think for 750 points value that'll be the hardest match up for your list as they can sit back with heavy weapon teams and camp objectives.

Otherwise think should be a good campaign for you. Good luck!

Or for some even more fun - you could knock down a 10 man Raider unit to 5, lose splinter racks and Wych unit and include some Reavers with a blaster and caltrops - giving you light armour AT and a mop up unit

Planning for 750 points is actually quite fun! You've got me thinking...
