| I like the idea.
The only thought in my head is that it would be more jarring if you made the attached face less bloody and more immaculate - really driving home what it is and adding to the alien appearance.
I do like the blood dripping down across it though, so maybe just make it neater? Love the work on the cloak.

| Looks great. I will second what Thor said about the face. It would really stand out being a pale dead skin against the flayed effect on the rest. | |

I have to second Thor's suggestion here-- that would make for a damn fine miniature, and would fit perfectly with DE feel. What came to mind for me was the creature reveal from the 2013 remake of The Thing: (Waaay inferior to John Carpenter's take, but I have to give credit that this was one of its more jarring moments.) I really like what you've done though, you've really given him an entirely unique personal touch through paint alone.

| Or the duke from "Lucifer" (the comic book series) who betrays Lys.
BTW, if any of you haven't read Lucifer, it was the sequel to the Sandman series, it is stunning, and the court of Lys is SOOOOO Dark Eldar!
I love your paintjob; please take a few more pictures without the white background (neutral is best, a grey sheet/Tshirt maybe), and a couple of desklights rather than the camera flash, you'll get much better pics!

| He looks great and wonderfully goopy. Are you going to 'ardcoat him so that he looks nice and glistening? Sorry if you already did, but the photos are pretty rough, so I'm not sure.
I'm going to add a +1 to the suggestions of cleaning up the face to get some contrast in there.

| I think the bloody face is perfectly fine as it is and the different colours (muscle/skin) are enough of a contrast for me. You have to like it though. | |

| I bet he just loves taking showers. I'd like to add another +1 to the face suggestions above, UNLESS IRL he looks more contrasty. I know how annoying photos can be for not looking like their subject | |
