| Hi guys.
At the moment i have one box of Kabalite warriors. I have seen several ways to field kabalites, but generally want an all comers list which i can then tailor as i get to know the army and my meta (completely new shop opened up in town.)
I've seen squads of 5 in a venom, and 10 in raiders. how would you field and equip yours if going for all comers?

| both are viable for all-comers - 10 in a raider work on the basis of the warriors providing anti-infantry and the raider providing a dark lance AT shot. 5 in a venom usually have a blaster, and the venom has dual splinter cannons meaning the venom provides the anti-infantry and the 1 blaster shot provides anti-tank.
10 in a raider could also feasibly take a blaster in case there's no infantry targets available, and if it hits, it'll fry a footsoldier so it's hardly a bad choice for a gunboat.

| I think the 5 with venom (with or without the blaster) is the best way to use them.
I do have a couple of gun boats (10, blaster, racks) but find they end up being targets early in the game and have little impact. Swarms of small units make denting the efficiency of the army harder

| Raider, Dark Lance 10 Kabalites, 1 Dark Lance
That's my typical configuration.
When the Kabalites take a Dark Lance, the Raider provides a durable anti-tank option that can also assist taking out infantry.
Another fair option is to take Kabalites as MSU for Venoms with or without a blaster.
There are plenty of ways to play Kabalites but these are the easiest, and arguably most efficient.

| ok, so maximising my single box of kabalites as of this moment:
2 5 man squads, each with a blaster. Is the sybarite option useless?
Furthermore, the venom model comes with wych riders. If i buy it, or multiples of it, is there any problem with this or would i have to switch out for extra kabalites?

| I personally don't use any of the hangers on on any of my vehicles - just don't like the look
As for the sybarite - save him for big units only and then just for the ld buff

| 10 in a Raider with Splinter Racks. Splinter Racks all day, every day. We have very little access to Twin Linked, and this is a great use of it.
I will typically take two, both with lances and Splinter racks

| The sybarite does nothing until you get off the transport or it starts taking damage. Like any upgrade of that nature 1 point of leadership isn't huge | |

| There is also 5 in Raider with blaster, when you need more turn 1 AV.
There is also 5 in Raider with blaster with Sybarite and Blast Pistol, this squad is for deepstriking. Deepstrike, disembark 6, fire blaster and blast pistol.
Also you dont have to take exactly 10 in raider, if you arent plaaning to take Dark Lance or Splinter Cannon. If you want to spend points elsewhere, midsize squad like 7 is just as good. You can add splinter racks.
10 strong with all the goodies and night-shields isnt really for my taste, too big loss if it is destroyed. And if you are deepstriking it - the rest of your army will be weak by having so much in reserve.

| 5 Warriors in Venom/Raider with Sybarite armed with Haywire is also an interesting option. Way cheaper and I think better then a Sybarite with blast pistol. | |

| For game simplicity, I build my Venoms with no riders, not even the gunner (The pilot is in his seat); then a single mini with its base can be balanced on the deck, to indicate which squad is embarked.
Similarly, I don't use the middeck structures on my raiders, and even a 40mm base for a Grot can stand there.
Quite a few of the above posters have listed POSSIBLE builds, which are obvious; not many have actually recommended OPTIMUM builds, and why.
I have only had one game with the new codex, and am expecting to drop a LOT of Dark Lances, relying on Reavers/Scourges for all Anti Tank, so my default Dark Lance on Raiders may change to Dissies. A good rule of thumb for unit design is: avoid mixing loadouts: apart from MSU all-rounders like Marines, an AT gun in an AI squad means half the shooting is wasted every turn.
Personally, I have found the following, but I am no expert:
1) Strong Midfield AI shooting, reliable unit: 10 Warriors, Splinter cannon, Raider, Splinter rack. DL on raider for AT 2) Strong rearguard disembarked unit: 10 Warriors, Sybarite blaster/goodCCW, joined with support IC 3) Strong vanguard unit: 9Warriors, Blaster Sybarite, IC on naked Raider 4) Strong late game harassment/clean-up/objective grabber: Venom, Warriors, Blaster Syb.
Weak units: 5) 5 man Warrior squads of any sort, unless in reserve, and totally hidden until mid-late game. Easy killpoints for barrage, long range etc. Explode venom, 2 warriors die, fail morale test, run off nearby edge. 2KP! 6) Warriors without a killy IC: 12" up board, raider gets popped before earning its points, lose guys to explosion, lose guys in open, lose guys to overwatch, if you're lucky Dave and Bill assault the enemy with the butts of their rifles, and enemy gets to nick their stuff!
7) 11+ Warrior squad, even if behind cover. Helloooo, barrage template. Helloooo flamer...

| I have a list focused around T2 beta strike and grenade launchers, so i have a bad habit of giving my boys all of the toys: 10 warriors with a splinter cannon, sybarite with PGL in raider with dissy, TGL, and splinter racks. | |
