| So this is more of a tactics question then an army list. Planning on adding 4 3man reaver jetbike squadrons to me eldars list (below) and was wonder if a heat lance or blaster would be worth putting in them as well as a caltrop... What do you guys think? They are mainly a harassing unit to keep their army busy while I shoot them to death.

| i wouldnt get Heat lance or blaster, it will be a waste of points because your Reavers will be jinking alot which will be snap-firing(got this from burning_eye XD | |

| I agree with asdrubel Vect124. Caltrops only, no guns. Spend those points on units that will be hitting on 3s not 6s. | |

| I would agree on larger units, but with 4 units of three, they almost certainly will not be jinking all of them every turn, so I think they could have a place. | |

| I would always max out on caltrops at any size from 3 to 12. Caltrops are why you take them in the first place. I would not take guns at any points level other than maybe very small points games (500-750). | |

| For people who take the heat Lance, do you put it on one of the meat shields for the Caltrop bearer, or give one guy both upgrades? | |

| All upgrades go to one guy. I agree with saturating your opponent with targets so the purchase of a heat lance or blaster can still work. Small squads are more easily hidden and are brutally efficient when they hit. | |
