My intent is for Eldrad to get invisibility and for the talos to be not manageable for my opponent. Having played with a min squad of talos in over 15 games now I really think they are an auto include in our list now. Having 5 of them with scout and extra VP is redonk. This is my 1850 list. If i have to scale to 1500 I was thinking the Talos Cronos Haemon combo. Idealy I can find a way for the Corpsethief Claw in the 1500 though. This list is very light on Troops but those talos are a major game changer when you see your DE opponent set up across from you.

Invisible Taloi are gross. List looks just fine.

Not totally sure I get the point of the Haemie over an Archon (with a blaster or even just a haywire grenade), and the armor of misery seems weird in a non-CC squad, I get that it combos with Freakish Spectacle and Psychic Shriek, but you'll need to bring your warlord in really close to use it which isn't really where he wants to be. Also the random sybarite and enhanced sails on the ravager seem kind of like filler (and somewhat odd filler at that). The sails on the raider make more sense since it's Ob. Sec. but still seem a little like filler. Since you've got Eldar allies already you might consider Fire Dragons over Blasterborn, they're cheaper, give you another gun, AP1, power armor, and melta bombs, and all you lose is a little range (just give them the same Raider from FA).

I prefer getting a +1 to PFP if the HQ is just a filler. So the blasterborn can benefit from a 5+ fnp on turn two. The sybarite is there because that's what I'm planning on sitting eldrad in. If they get charged I wouldn't mind having a throw away character for the initial challenge. That raider and the Harmon should never be too far from the Talos bomb so they will have a bubble. The armor is there in case I get an oppourtunity to charge or multi charge with the Talos. If I have flexible room to drop in with the blasterborn that can assist the Talos with its cc then its a really nice combo. Giv . How tournaments run with missions I am fully expecting to get t 2 combat with that squad possibly have the games. Relics for sure. Its just the setup. And I don't really want to take fire dragons over blaster born. I fully expect eldrad and Harmon to be target priority which is fine with me so I can always put them in the raider together for a mini bomb that I will definitely drop next to the Talos. Trying to min max a situation where I fully expect everything to die on a single turn.

U know that Eldrad on a raider can only use witchfires, don't u?
To stay in the open field I would rather put him with grots to sit them and cast invisibility, or with the defenders taking 20 of them with heavy platforms. Staying in the middle close to the taloi with 8 kab war and a sybarite is not a great defence.
A lonely wave serpent wouldn't change the game either, I would invest its points in scourges.

What's the purpose of the aethersails on the Ravager?

In lieu of a night shields, after snap shooting I would like to get it to another part of the table. Instead of sitting and snap shooting.

Javorra those are good points. I can still psychic shriek out of the raider which is nice and is a fun little combo with the haemon. However Eldrad is decently tanky I would drop him with the guardians in some cover if he takes a lot of fire. The great part is that he gets his redeploys with the army so I can feint one way at the begining and then swap it on the person right before first dice. The raider and pyschic shriek comes into play if I get a Tau guard or eldar opponent that I can LD bomb on the unit I am more scared of. Like if there is a unit of broadsides or something. I figure that if the one thing the Talos are scared off are eliminated right off the bat then I don't really need to worry too much about them. All in all I will play test it a few times and tweak it.

I feel like running 2 Cronos with Probes is essential for the Corsepthief Claw. Gives you 4+ FnP for the Claw and 2 more MCs to run around. I don't think the Eldar detachment is really needed. I would use those points (Eldar) for the Cronos and use the rest for a second Ravager.

You are not guaranteed Invisibility, and Eldrad has no real safe place to go and cast his powers. And if your list is centered around the Claw, those Cronos will help loads and save you points for more stuff as well by dropping the Eldar.

Yea that's an idea. But the problem is a grav star can still while them out with relative ease. They don't get their armor so a 4+ fnp will still drop like flies.

Id have an aethersail on the Raider, not the Ravager.

Why the Sybarite?

make em storm Guardians and give them meltas.

I like your dissie idea on a ravager I'll try that out. I don't know much about guardians. All these are good points this is why I bring it up haha. I'll do some tweaking and play testing.
