Sample list for upcoming 1850 tourny

This is real space raiders list for an upcoming tournament at a local games club
There will be 3 games and all opponents are decided on the day using a points system
There is no gargantuan creatures allowed and no super heavys apart from knights(which no one plays anyway)

So here is my list
Any points and questions let me know
All input is greatly appreciated


Archon- huskblade
Shadowfield
Soul trap
Helm of spite= 160

5 incubi and a klaivex
Raider with night shield=200

5 trueborn- 2 DL
Venom with 2 SC =160

5 trueborn-2 DL
Venom with 2 SC =150

10 warriors-SC
Raider with night shield and splinter racks =180

10 warriors-SC
Raider with night shield and splinter racks =180

5 warriors
Venom with 2 SC= 105

5 scourges - 4 HL

5 scourges- 4 shredders

Razorwing- SC and 2 disintegrators and 4 monoscythe missiles and nightshield=155

Void raven bomber- 2 VL and 4 shatterfield missiles =200

Ravager- 3 DL and nightshield = 140


The plan is for the archon to ride with the incubi
With the 2 gunboats blocking line of sight to them.
The trueborn with the DLs will start the game dismounted from the venom most likely and holding any backfield objectives
Whilst the trueborn with the SC and the warriors in the venom will be used as a flanking force to try and contest the enemy's objectives
The scourges will either be used as a separate flanking force or deep strike in as an alpha strike and remove any key/troublesome units

Forgive me but I must go through this list and make a few changes.


Archon- huskblade-Take out for Agoniser, much better in terms of wounds, same points.

Raider with night shield=200-So the Raider is running Diss Cannon? Other wise this should be at 205.

5 trueborn- 2 DL-While nice, I would look into 4 Blasters. If you want something to hold something Talos.

5 scourges- 4 shredders-Finally someone uses these things. Sad point of note, the scourges will get one round of shooting with them before they die. 12" range means charge range.

Razorwing- SC and 2 disintegrators and 4 monoscythe missiles and nightshield=155-No Dark Lances?

Void raven bomber- 2 VL and 4 shatterfield missiles =200-That works but just give it Night Shields and save points. This is a GREAT anti-tank hunter. Think like this, the better bomber is out fighter and the better fighter is our bomber.

Ravager- 3 DL and nightshield = 140- Lovin it.

Yeah just too clarify all raiders have disintegrators
They jink if anybody so much as looks at them so I am reluctant to waste points on a single crap that hits on a 6 not when I have other DLs scattered around the place
The scourges with shredders are a bit of a crutch unit, I play guard aswell and I love the wyvern so they are like a sort if wyvern lol. It is a shame that they usually die straight away after firing, but the amount of damage they can dish out to hordes units more than makes up for it.
Keeping the disintegrators on the razorwing, use it to hunt TEQs and light flyers.

Just realised The second trueborn squad are supposed to have splinter cannons my bad sorry
