| I am keen to know what your nightmare looks like on your Haemons, any pictures? I am thinking of using a pet Wrack as a token on the side, but Im not sure. A Doll sounds really small. But since the word is diminutive maybe a really big doll (Thanqols bone rat?) might be really fun. How is the doll supposed to give us increased Feel No Pain? What is it supposed to do fluff wise? | |

- When a drop of blood is passed from the owner’s withered finger into the Nightmare Doll’s red slash of a mouth, the creature forms a sympathetic link with its parent Haemonculus. Should the owner be harmed in battle, his injuries are absorbed by the Nightmare Doll. If its owner is riddled with bullets, tiny holes appear in the thing’s writhing body whilst its master remains whole. Should the Haemonculus be hit by a decapitating strike, the foe’s blade will pass through his gnarled neck without leaving so much as a scratch. The doll’s mewling, disembodied head will require restitching; an interesting challenge in itself.
Basically a reversed Vodoo Doll. Whatever happens the owner does happen to the doll insead.

| A familiar of sorts on a seperate base seems like a good idea. But I would use something less generic than a Wrack. Maybe one of these? | |

| If you're into sculpting, a miniature Haemonculus would be cool... | |

| Perhaps look into the 40K Epic miniatures for a wee Eldar or Dark Eldar 6 mm figure. | |

The Warhammer Ghouls would be the easiest pick for that. But I saw that you already used many of those... How about these Goblins?

Armless zombies? No big deal. Anyone can make those easily with GW's zombies (I'd suggest using heads from the Corpse Cart though - its load also looks great on a Covenite Raider). They would actually make for a nice reference to an event described in the 5th ed. codex, where a Haemonculus took revenge on an annoying IG regiment by turning them into arm- and headless undead.

| I just had an idea for my Haemy's Nightmare Doll: A Tyranid Ripper - its head + the smaller head from the two-headed Wrack + a couple of antennae = a small Parasite Engine! I'll post a picture once I built it. | |

| My Mini-Cronos is almost finished. It just needs another set of antennae and some green stuff. In the meantime though, I have discovered another potential Nightmare Doll on GW's new Skaven Stormfiends: http://www.games-workshop.com/de-DE/Skaven-Stormfiends Each of these beefed-up Rat Ogres is "piloted" by a small Skaven with an oversized brain on the back of the model. All it would take is to attach spare Wrack masks to their faces, or even just to remove their teeth, to make them into weird little pet creatures for Haemonculi. [EDIT] Here it is, along with my Haemonculix: | |
