Two Grotesquerie Lists

Messing around with my Grotesquerie lists. I'm wondering if it's worth trying to squeeze Urien in.

So, here are my lists with and without Urien - I'd appreciate hearing which one you think is best.

List #1 (no Urien):

1500pts:

Grotesquerie:
- 4 Grotesques inc. Aberration w/ Scissorhands, Raider w/ Disintegrator, Enhanced Aethersails
- 4 Grotesques inc. Aberration w/ Scissorhands, Raider w/ Disintegrator, Enhanced Aethersails
- Haemonculus w/ Sindriq's Sump, Scissorhands (Warlord)

CAD:
- Succubus w/ Glaive, Helm of Spite, Haywire Grenades
- 5 Trueborn w/ 4x Blaster, Venom w/ Splinter Cannon
- 5 Trueborn w/ 4x Blaster, Venom w/ Splinter Cannon
- 5 Warriors w/ Blaster, Venom w/ Splinter Cannon
- 5 Warriors w/ Blaster, Venom w/ Splinter Cannon
- 5 Scourges w/ 4x Haywire Blaster
- Ravager w/ 3x Dark Lance


List #2 (with Urien):

1500pts:

Grotesquerie:
- 4 Grotesques inc. Aberration w/ Scissorhands, Raider w/ Disintegrator
- 4 Grotesques inc. Aberration, Raider w/ Disintegrator
- Urien Rakarth (Warlord)

CAD:
- Succubus w/ Glaive
- 5 Trueborn w/ 4x Blaster, Venom w/ Splinter Cannon
- 5 Trueborn w/ 4x Blaster, Venom w/ Splinter Cannon
- 5 Warriors w/ Blaster, Venom w/ Splinter Cannon
- 5 Warriors w/ Blaster, Venom w/ Splinter Cannon
- 5 Scourges w/ 4x Haywire Blaster
- Ravager w/ 3x Dark Lance

In both lists the Succubus and Urien/Haemonculus each ride with one of the Grot squads (in the second list, Urien goes with the Scissorhands Aberration).

So, in the second list, I've cut the Helm of Spite, Haywire Grenades, Enhanced Aethersails and one of the Scissorhands to make room for Urien. Do you think this is a worthwhile trade? If not, is there anything you think would be worth cutting to make room for Urien, or am I better off with just the standard Haemonculus?

Also, any other comments or suggestions for the lists in general?

I would go with the first one for these low points value. Allows you to get them into position turn one and devastate the opponent.

I used a similar list for my 1850 tournament. Went really well.
2 things remember venom can deep strike and urien I found to be underwhelming compared to what he was before.

I also found urien underwhelming,but someone on Warseer convinced me to try him again (I'll save him for higher point games).

Which of my venoms do you think would benefit from deep striking?

Any of them. Blasters especially make people scared. Use reserves to counter drop pods and other such armies
