Army project: 500 - 1000 - 1500

Dear all

I am planning to build up a Dark Eldar Army (Kabal of the flushed skull). The goal in our group is to start playing with painted models. Therefore we have defined some project steps (500, 1000, 1500 points). What I will start playing against are Imperial Guard (focus is on having a lot of infantry and platforms), Dark Angles Ravenwing, Tyranids and Orks (green flood). This is what I thought of at 1500:

is there a formation to bring just 1-2 troupe and solitaire? not realy familiary yet with them
