2000 point list for upcoming tournament

Hey Folks, I've been part of the hobby off and on for quite a while and decided to jump back in after my most recent hiatus. I decided to sign up for a tournament to kickstart my motivation.

I've read through the 7th edition rules and new books to put a list together. I got some help from the 40k reddit for my initial list, then I stumbled upon this forum.

The list:

Giving this thread a bump. I got a chance to play a game and pick up the covens book. I'm now in between 2 lists which both make use of the covens book:

List A
2x Lhamean
Venom - SC

Dark Artisan - Spirit Probe, WWP

3x 10 Warriors
Raider - DL, SR, NS

3x 5 Warriors
Venom - SC

2x 5 Scourges - 4 w/ Haywire Blaster

Razorwing - Lances, Night Shields

2x Ravager - 3DL, NS

Total Models: 71 Total Points: 2000

List B
Succubus - Archite Glaive, Haywire

Dark Artisan - Chain Flails, Spirit Probe, WWP and Scissorhand

Grotesquerie
Haemy - Scissorhand
2x 4 Grots - Aberation, Flesh Gauntlet, In Raider with Nightshield

2x 10 Warriors
Raider - DL, SR, NS

2x 5 Warriors
Venom - SC

Razorwing - Lances, Night Shields

2x Ravager 1 3DL, NS

Total Models: 50 Total Points: 2000

List A generally stays back, shoots and plays objective gaming. The dark artisan either plugs a potential hole in my line or drops in aggressively to be a distraction/damage the back line.

List B will have to play far more aggressive, hopefully pop a few transports early, then orchestrate grot/dark artisan charges turn 3+.

the venoms have 2 splinter cannons total right?

Apologies for any ambiguity, I only noted options/upgrades next to the units. All venoms have dual splinter cannons.

I like the lists. I like ichor injectors on the talos if you have the points but that is just my personal preference.
