| My old army follows the Obsidian Rose color scheme that GW printed in the older codex, but I've tried and tried again to find ways to keep the army from looking so black without deviating from the iconic look that the 'eavy metal team uses to paint their kabalites, but I've failed on too many attempts. So I officially give up with that color scheme. Here's a sample of what they used to look like: I finally, for the first time in a long time, came up with a paint scheme I like. In hindsight there are a few things I wish I had done differently with the Grotesques, but in the future I'll make those changes. I wish I had shaved off the Skaven symbols from the models, and I wish I had given them less armor. I'd like to give them more syringes and vials that the the typical Coven units have. As of now, for the things I can change, I'll need to think of something I can do with their masks. I'm not sure if I should gloss them, add symbols, shade them or make them silver.

| I like your colour scheme, very word bearer which is only a good thing! I mean, um, heresy!... Anyway, I actually quite like the armored look, it ties them in well with the chronos, but as they only have a 6+ save I can see your problem with them. Don't worry though, they're painted now so you can only move forward. With regards to the masks, gloss 'em and leave them black, in my opinion the blank face masks is what makes them scary, sliver masks are cool but you've already got plenty of sliver on there so don't go overboard! Keep it up, looking forward to seeing more! | |

| Awesome brushskills! I also like the red scheme, I think schemes that use only a limited palette of colours look (when the execution is tidy) really good About the mask, I'd leave them black too, just add a coat of gloss varnish to them as zizza1400 said. I like the blood on the "hands" of the middle one too! The only thing, that came to my mind, is something more game related. The size comparison of the Talos/Chronos and the Stormfiends makes me think, they would be awesome alternatives for Talos! | |

| Finished the Archon that my friends gave to me as a birthday present. I can't stand the pose GW gave this model so I improvised a bit with its arms. Ultimately: I'm not too pleased with the way it turned out, I applied a direct layer of silver over the red, but I think the model might be too small for my skills. I may have to drybrush the silver next time. I think it looks fine on the table top though. Reavers up next. | |

| First man done. Having trouble deciding what to do with the pants -- if I should leave them brown or find some other color to use, and the knife looks baaad. I'll probably wash down the knife but I'm still not too sure about what to do with the pants. | |

| He looks so mad about the head. Like "who left this crap on the stairs?" I like your new scheme a lot, good work. I don't think the brown works well with the red though. You might need to lighten it up a long way, or just paint them like the armour. You could also use a spot colour to really make the red and silver pop, and I think the blue on the archon's hair is just the deal. | |

| Currently in the process of molding some Haywire Blasters. I'm having a little trouble with it, the molding material holds the detail well enough, but I keep getting miscasts where the two vertical planes aren't aligning.
...... I'll also do a guide on the molding process once I have it fully figured out.
Please don't post it here when you finish it. I have removed part of this post describing molding Haywire Blasters. We all know that many people do this, but we cannot officially approve of it on the forum as it is IP infringement against GW, and that is strictly against forum rules. Thanks, Gob
Next update I'm hoping to have another Reaver done, with corrections to the current Reaver's pants. Scourges assembled with the molded HWB, Archon with corrected shoulder (which is supposed to be skin, not metal), and all coven masks with some sort of paint on them.
