| @Hannibal.Lictor - Let's keep it civil please. I'm sure you're capable of making a point without calling other players silly names - Count Adhemar
As for the Wave Serpent, I disagree that the firepower isn't an issue. Up to 14 S6/7 shots, all twin-linked at BS4 is more than most armies have on their heavy support choices! When it's on a fast, resilient and maneuverable platform that can be spammed to hell then it becomes even more of an issue and really needs toning down. The designers are hampered by the options on the kit, which must all be usable. This basically means they have two routes they can take.
Firstly, they can remove or alter the Laser Lock rule on Scatter Lasers. Removing the twin-linking of all weapons would go a long way to keeping the Serpent in check.
Secondly, they can change the Serpent Shield. Your suggestion of a torrent is quite nice, although I'd prefer a 12" range. I've also seen suggestions that it becomes a blast, which would prevent its use against flyers and reduce the amount of shots the Serpent pumps out. My own suggestion would be to keep it as is but make it a one shot weapon.

I would really want that to happen. Not because I think it is a real issue but because it makes casting "guide" so unrewarding on a lot of units.

| I agree with Count - make the offensive attack a 1 use per game and when you use it - you loose the defensive effect for the rest of the game as well. Done
As for assault ramps - nope - just make the banshee exarch power 'Acrobatic' let them assault from any vehicle as if it was open topped. Makes them different from scorpions/wraith blades/harlequins so they have a place in the combat line up without silly things like harlequins or incubi gaining an Av12 shielded assault transport

| i hope for assault ramps, maybe some tweaks for storm guardians too, poor things they just want to share the meaning of life... with chainswords . I found eldar assault quite suprisingly effective just i needed to get 3 fast slot raider with a realspace raider detach for those assaults, combined with other 2 raiders and a venom for the Dark kin assaults and a few shining spears/reavers it makes quite some fun. For the serpent, i dont realy care what happens to it (i have 4) as long as they be more transporty than shooty, fed up with paying 145 point for a transport what other armies get for 35 ... or even better (im looking at you drop pods) or for 70 (IG/DE) sure it shoots the crap out of IG and Xenos but SM still laugh at me with their power armour. Remove nerf whatever i tend to fail the serpentshield fail when i fail the cover save or Grav centurions happen :/ | |

| I would really like the idea of banshee masks getting assault rule to banshees. No need for wratuhbaldes getting assault fron serpent.
Shield should be Heavy 6 one shot/lose protection after shot.

| First leaked pics are up: http://natfka.blogspot.ca/2015/04/leaked-images-codex-cover-models-and.html New jetbikes, Autarch with wings, and codex cover so far. And some supposed rule leaks: - Natfka wrote:

"scatter lasers now lost the twin linking bonus however. windriders can now get scatter lasers. (each model can change the TL shuriken catapult for either scatter laser or shuriken cannon)"
via Manwë http://www.warhammer-forum.com/index.php?showtopic=229838&page=5 Some people on a French forum have seen the WD.
The WK's heavy wraithcanons are now D, and the sword too. He is gargantuan (and probably LoW I think).
Jetbikes rules are the same, no changes and same slot (but new minies, and they are cool!).
Walocks are not in the Wildriders box, but is an option in the Jetseer pack =D (1D6+100 of dat things for me, kthxbye).
There is a "Decurie" (don't now the name of the Necron special host in English), called Craftworld Warhosts :
1 to 3 guardians host (Wildriders, guardiens squads and the ones from Ulthwë) unlock some extra stuff for all the craftworlds. For example, 1 3 Wildriders choices unlock some stuff for Saim Hann host.
You can take for each guardians host 1 to 12 choices of some unit in the codex (crimson, tank, avengers..., but also aspects warriors, ghost warriors, wraithknight and wraithlords. But seems limitated to 1 for the 3 lasts).
The Autarch on foot has swooping hawks wings, and is awesome.
via marneus41 No pics, but read the WD. 3 new plastic kits :
- Eldar Windriders : 3 new motojets with all the weapon choices available. - Eldar Farseer Skyrunner : 1 eldar farseer or warlock (2 heads and 2 weapons choice). - Eldar Autarch : no options
New codex of 160 pages with description of 11 craftworld (nothing about specific rules for them). 2 new specific psy discipline (battle runes and fate runes).
One FOC like the necron : 1-3 guardian hosts (3 types available) 0-3 Regent of the warhost (Heroes, seer council, living legends (avatar and phoenix lords)) 1-12 formation for each guardian ost (outcasts, crimson death, dire avenger shrine, wraith host, aspect host, wraith-construct, engines of vaul)
Distorsion wepon = D-weapon.
CC weapon of the wraithknight is D weapon.

| Honestly, there's a lot that needs to go right for the Eldar.
Another spoiler is that scatter lasers have lost laser lock (but may now be taken by jetbikes).

Seer council : 2 farseers (1 can be Eldrad, 1 warlock conclave) These are 0-3 for every Guardian host (which also need 1 Farseer and a Conclave) So basically you can have 3 Windrider squads, 1 Vyper Squad and up to 7 Farseers and 4 Warlock conclaves. I would say thats pretty psyker heavy. Also the council seems to be a daemonkin-like formation wich probably means there are benefits for using them on top of it.

All those people moaning about Wave Serpents and praying for nerfs are already freaking out about jetbikes, wraithknight and S: D totting wraithguard And I'm loving that thread on dakka-dakka: - ROTFL anyone saying wraithguard are going to have D-weapons is bonkers! ...one picture later... - Oh crap...

I think the reference was to the battle report vs Astra Militarum when the codex was released, though if I remember right it was just bad writing on their part and actually referred to the power mauls carried by the ogryn/bullgryn that the wracks were fighting
