| The new faqs just went up, strangely the english Dark Eldar is still the old one from february. But the german one got online a few minutes ago and the english will follow very, very soon.
It contains one clarification and one rule change: (1) Leliths attacks only ignore saves in CC (2) Hits caused by bladevanes are not longer allocated randomly. Determine the wounds from the endposition of the jetbikes (finally).
Now I start to read the rulebook FAQ.

| Thank god for that, random allocation took soooo long lol
As for Lelith, i'd have felt a cow trying to argue playing it as anything else :p

| No more flat out after shooting from vehicles. Quite expected. | |

| Some highlights:
-Invulnerable saves work on vehicles. -You can't move through models any-more (glad they cleared that up). -Dark Angels ravenwing command squad can take two additional bikes. -Deathwing Assault counts for the purpose of reserve (so no all deepstriking death wing army). -Vehicles can't shoot gun emplacements any-more. -Drop pods and the squads inside them both count as coming in from reserve, so can both be shot by models with interceptor. -Tau suits don't have to take twinlinked weapons, a commander for example can have two seperate missile pods, but it would cost him 30pts rather than 20pts for a twinlinked missile pod (man this is going to be evil)! -Grand strategy doesn't work on vehicles (except walkers), and only affects units from the grey knights codex. -Mind war allows cover saves and look out sir.

That'll make it a bit easier to pick off those heavy/special weapons hiding at the back Also Dark Angels FAQ: Page 64 – Power Field Generator Add “If the bearer is embarked upon a Transport vehicle, the power field’s effects only apply to models embarked upon that vehicle”. So no more triple LR with 4++ unless there are 3 Power fields

Sprayed coffee on my monitor reading the first one. People will try ANYTHING Sprayed coffee again on the second one: I've got a lot of dual Fusion blaster suits to shove down my favorite opponents pie hole

| Thank the heavens for the Reaver jetbike clearup. Honestly, I've used that wound allocation only once, found it took me five minutes and then asked everyone that even though this is how the FAQ states the wounds should be allocated, could I use the Screamer allocation instead. Nobody ever objected.
Also lol @ Mind War change. Does anyone even use it for anything else but to get a psychic power roll for 20 points?

| I'm glad to see they cleared a lot of stuff up.
No more razorbacks shooting from gun emplacements. No more moving through friendly units (unfortunatly they didn't say you can't move with your dreadnaught through a gap in a wall smaller than the base as is the case with the charge rules on page 21)
And most importantly, Reavers are easier to use....

| But also: Look Out Sir! for Mindwar? Are they crazy? "Ohmigosh, look out, Sir! That Xenos with the big hat is staring at you funnily! I SUSPECT YOUR BRAINS ARE ABOUT TO BE MELTED ANY SECOND NOW! Let me heroically throw my mind into your head and save you from harm!"

| Pretty much my thought, Kinnay. My only guess would be that the other guy pushes away the supposed victim, but then again, (as you say) how would he know about the coming Mind War? Invo Saves I can accept, and Cover Saves I suppose, but this... | |

| I found the change allowing cover saves against mind war to be frustrating, contradicting of the codex and fluff.
And now they make look our sir rolls available against it too? *Facepalm*

| - New FAQs wrote:
- Q: If a model is ‘removed from play’ due to such effects as failing their Initiative test against ‘Jaws of the World Wolf’, does this count as being removed as a casualty? (p15)
A: Yes. Mandatory Necron buff. - New FAQs wrote:
- Q: Does Mind War allow cover saves and / or Look Out, Sir rolls? (p28)
A: Yes Mandatory Eldar nerf. Balance is restored. Again. Move along. Nothing to see here.

| But, the FAQ specifies Lord of the Storm as targeting Allies of Convenience, so everything isn't necessarily coming up Necron. | |

This has always been the case. It has been merely clarified that it does.

Lelith got nerfed, but we all knew her grenades ignoring armour was an unintended side effect of the rule changes. Reavers finally got less stupid wound allocation for baldevanes so I consider this a victory.

| I suppose the Lelith change was always expected, as it was really abusing the RAW. The reaver change is also a relief. The changes to other codexes and rules don't bother me too much as I rarely take much notice in the going-ons of the filthy mon-keigh and scummy xenos rules. | |

| Darn it. I was going to use broken Lelith against a guy who thinks RAW is god. Guess I can't now. | |

| Why haven't they FAQ'ed the Animus Vitae(sp?)? I played with some pretty laid back people but when I go to a local Tournament I really want to know if that can be used with something else... | |

No FAQ is needed. It is one of many totally useless pieces of equipment in our codex. One would wonder what went through Phil Kelly's mind when he came up with this crap.
