The Monthly Vow - April 2015, Admech Ahoy!

Roll up roll up ladies and gents. It is that time of month again for you all to pledge your amazing feats of painting and modelling prowess. All failures will be greeted with a harsh whipping and a trip to the haemonculus's den.....just sayin.

Pledge what you plan to acieve below and your achievement shall of course be emblazoned in TDC's patent pending, trademark-lawsuit pending Comorrah purple!TM

Denizens and their vows for the month of April (Completed in purple):-

Painting is off the table at the moment as my eyes are just too tired to do any in the limited time I get but I am able to build and convert stuff so my vow for April is to build a Cronos Pain Engine and to build/convert 3 Grotesques.

I'm gonna convert a sybrite and a few other pieces to make a blaster wielding archon. I also need to finish painting 2 ravagers. Let's see if I can do it

Just bought a house, so with the impending move I have to keep it light:
-5 30K World Eater Assault Marines
-5 30K Destroyers
-Wraithknight (from last month )
-Wave Serpent
-Falcon

My vow:- paint x2 drop pods, iron priest on thunderwolf & 3 kymaerie. Convert/build x6 thunderwolves, iron priest on thunderwolf & x5 fenrisian wolves

Venom, 3 Reavers, finish backpacks for 5 bloodstone Knights sternguard, space marine stalker.

1 Emperor's Champion (Should be done today)

1 Test model Sword Brethren

Do as much as possible on my Land Raider Crusader (not anticipating I can finish that one..)

Assemble five Space Marines for a new homebrew chapter.

I would say that I'd paint them, but I'm awful at these vows.

Edit: They're going to have some fluff that I will post with them, too

Haha, I was actually intending on painting aving them grey originally. Although when I was in GW yesterday and saw a paint (not sure if it was Naggaroth Night) and thought some sort of regal blue/purple might suit them.

Of course, don't actually pay attention to me saying about a paint scheme, because it probably won't happen.

Just finished my Emperor's Champion.

Painting a single figure is so much quicker than batch painting!! I love it.

The armour is red because my Black Templar Army is called the Crimson Crusade and in my fluff they are treading that fine path of zealously spilling blood for the emperor and zealously spillng blood for bloods sake (AKA hello Khorne). So I have intentionally enhanced the red flavour of my Templars.

Pretty happy with how he turned out, just wish I had the patience to put this much effort into the rest of the army....

I like the sword, @Dragontree !!

I pledge to finish a leman russ tank and my 20 kabalites. If my order arrives in time I'd like to finish the Medusae and start on some incubi. Probably some more work on a friends imperial guard

In a bout of mediocre painting productivity I have finished the land raider that I thought I would merely get started this month.

Sadly I still have a squad of vanguard veterans to paint (converted from the old sword brethren models) otherwise I would be taking these guys to a tournament on the 25/26th of this month.

It need snow weathering on the tracks and sides but I have run out of it and have no hobby budget for this month as I am brassic. So that shan't happen for a while, so consider it finished for now.

Yeah I did think that when I finished, funny how the colour scheme for my Templars only screamed sister after it was painted on a land raider.

Still can always use it in a sisters army on the sly, should GW ever release plastic sisters I will be very on that!

Going somewhat better than expected this month! All done with weeks to spare, so hopefully will manage to pick up some more Crypt Horrors and Stormfiends to get the rest of my Coven forces built.

Reavers are a couple of hours of painting away from completion (may be done this evening) meaning that my 1850 BLOGWARS LIST WILL BE FINISHED THIS WEEK!

Next up then will be the sternguard backpacks for my blood angels successor so I can flog them and make a bit of cash! They're not in either of the two lists I made for the blood angels codex so don't see the point in keeping them.
