2 uses for Crucible

1: karios and 2: Be'lakor.

St6 auto-hit with no saves of any kind might be good to ground a fmc-psyker, especially if I bring 3 Crucibles, right?

I recently swapped a Crucible into my list. I've only played two games with it so far: in the first, it killed two Grey Knights who were 29 points apiece; the second game was against Tau. I'm keeping track because I'm testing my theory that even if the Crucible doesn't hit the actual psyker, it's still likely to make its points back killing the psyker's friends.

Because of our lack of meaningful answers to flying Hive Tyrants, I also considered a list with 8 Haemonculi with Crucibles. It's a terrible idea, but an entertaining one.

Can the crucible even hit FMC?

So far as I can tell, yes. Zooming Flyers can't be hit by attacks that don't roll to hit, but I don't see any such restriction for swooping Monstrous Creatures.
