| Well first, why not running a CAD? You are not taking advantage of the 6 Fast slots offered by the realspace raiders so you may has well get objective secured, which is better than the pitiful cover saver offered by RR.
I don't have my book with me but I think incubis come in squad of 5 minimum so you're list is not legal and your succubus are alone on foot. You need to find points to upgrade these venoms into raiders. That is if you are decided to run incubis... they died rather easily even with 3+. IMO Grotesques are a much safer succubus delivery system.
I would find the points for the raiders by switching the Voidraven for a Razorwing. It's much cheaper, just as resilient (ie not at all) and it's almost as good as AV as the VB.
Consider adding Nightshields to your Ravagers. You will never want to jinx with them but you can use your reavers to screen then (I'm pretty sure there's a nice tactical article about that on the forum) so your ravagers will get a 4+ cover save without jinxing.

| Incubi start as squads of 3 so that is ok. I do agree with Daemon's assessment of the use of venoms though. If you're lacking the models to put the incubi in raiders, just swap em out with your warriors. 5 kabbies in a venom with a blaster will work well. Grotesques are indeed a much safer body guard for your succubi, but I'm guessing that the reasons that you don't have them in this list are either 1. point cost, 2. money cost, and 3. availability. That being said the two melee groups could be a good idea and would create more target saturation. Getting those two there however could be tricky. My suggestion is to give each Succubus a webway portal, stick the squads in raiders for that extra hull point as well as the opportunity for the raider to pop rear armor on an enemy vehicle and give the raider night shields and maybe enhanced aethersails if you have the points left over.
Drop the void raven, IMO they are way over costed for what they can actually do. Razorwings are cheaper all around and perform the exact same role, but better.
Give your ravagers NS if you want, I haven't had the best luck with them but that's just me. I would however never put them on a table without at least two have all dark lances. Dissies are nice if you are facing a crap load of 2+ armor, i.e. grey knights. If not, lances are our bread and butter.
Lastly, I would drop the heat lances on your reavers. They will, if your opponent is smart, attract a high amount of enemy fire and their only real defence is to jink. Therefore, the lances are for the most part useless. Keep the caltrops, always lol.

| Alright, first major round of editing done.
Razorwing subbed for voidraven pulled heat lances from reavers, added 3 more reavers night shields now on ravagers reduced warrior squad to five, moved to venom moved one incubi squad to raider, added 2 more incubi
reasoning on choices: RR gives not only the cover saves (which are great when added to Stealth and Jink rules) but the warlord trait reroll. Obsec true can be versatile, but the kid im facing is going to be thinking more on trying to table me instead, based on his last games.
Incubi are indeed min:3, and while grots are a better guard, I have not started collecting my fleshcorps. webway is hilarious for shooting surprise, but the turn waiting after arrival for assault makes them more of a target than being on the board from the beginning.
I do not know availability of ignore cover in his army, but if it is there, jink will be hurting.

| The cover save from RR sadly has no effect with jink and the warlord table in the DE codex isn't that great. Yeah there are two pretty good ones but there's still a very good chance you won't get those two. Better to keep obsec and roll on the strategic table from the BRB. 3 more reavers is great! if you can find 15 points to swing another caltrop in would be best . All in all it's looking good! Since you know who you are playing, what army does he use? | |
