| Hi fellow Archons/Succbi and Hamounculi, I am thinking of a way to manipulate my reserve rolls. Does anyone of you have a viable argument why I should take a Bastion over a Bunker? I experienced a Lack of LOS blocking terrain in all (few) tournaments I ever went to. So I am considering a Bastion because you actually can hide skimmers behind it. The Aegis is probably out because I only can think of a Cronos to stay there without being shot instantly. I don't need a Cronos where my Aegisis deployed How tall is the Bunker, can you actually benefit from it? Is 20 points worth the "up"grade? Who would sit on my comms relay? I actually thought about 3 Inccubi because of repell and counter charge. Also, good armour saves against crumbling floors and roofs. Also thinkable would be lanceborn because they have some range. But would I not set my fortification behind cover, so probably not out front? I am glad to hear your thoughts about that! | |

| You could try an infantry heavy list. That could be worth a try. | |

| Infantry as solution to the missing cover? I once thought about that, a friend had great success in 4th/5th with orc Style DE XD I imagine 60+ warriors with SF-Archons and Haemies. I have to do that one time.
But for now I had the corpse thief claw in mind with some WWP Grots as backup. And those I would like to get when needed..

| The bastion is pretty tall, but not super wide. You could hide a raider in its vertical profile, but most vehicles will be able to get LOS by sidling one way or the other at cruising speed. | |

| You what goes really, really well with an Aegis Line?
MANDRAKES.
They are far more durable behind an Aegis Line that other infanttry, and perfect for sitting there with a Comm Realy (and not too shabby once set loose and the Relay isn't needed anymore).

| Mandrakes! That is true, they also are quiet potent to secure the backfield against small units of intruders. I usually alway squeeze three in to counter scouts or infiltrators and I like them. Which makes me think, can you go to ground and still re-roll reserves?
Also, if the Bastion is not so wide, would a Bunker at least give a cover safe to a raider chassis? Anyone here who owns one?

| They don't need to go to ground. They got a 2+ cover there. Just keep flame weapons at bay. And Tau of course. | |

| I just wanted to know if Warriors are still an Option if you want that 2+. Aegis gives a 2+ if you go to ground, right? Or wyches even..
