| Bit of an odd one this.
A unit of Dark Lance Scourges.
Choice is between, Yvraine or alternatively, a Warlock and an Imperial Bunker. Same points give or take 5pts.
Assume the Scourges have to start off the table and DS in, as I cannot be sure of first turn.
One unit of Scourge can DS next to Yvraine, getting BS4 of course, but rerolling 1's to hit and Soulbursting in the Psy Phase (both psy powers of Yvraine are likely to go off).
OR, a unit of Scourge can start on the table inside a T8 W12 SV3+ immobile transport that can shoot at BS3+ from turn 1 and very likely survive long enough to have a second shooting phase in turn 2. Small bonus meaning the Warlock has a better chance of not dying to lose Warlord point.
Thoughts? | |

| If you are going Ynnari you must have Yvraine, the Visarch, or the Yncarne as a warlord which would make Yvraine cheaper in the long run as taking the bunker and Yvraine would be expensive. Not sure if that helps. | |

| If I were to take the bunker, I'd take the army as Drukhari, not Ynnari. The only reason for me to take my army as Ynnari is for the Scourges, so it won't make any difference. | |

| I think Yvraine affords more flexibility than the warlock+bunker. That's where I'd go. | |

| The rest of my list is comprised of Ravagers, Flyers and 1 other unit of DL Scourges. I'm thinking the Building might add some resilience to the army and because of the shooting coming out of it, can't really be ignored. Bastion would be even better, but I'd have to drop the other unit of Scourges to fit that in. | |

| I honestly can't really say one way or the other yet. I think as a whole, not many have really considered buildings in 8th yet. This has me intrigued and I'm going to do a little research here. | |
