1850 Tournament

Fellow Archons,

It’s been awhile since I have played 40k (something like 6 months and played 4 games since 7th Edition released) and I’m planning on reacquainting myself at a local tournament in 11 days (I won’t be able to play until the day of). The fortification is there to cover one objective and provide LOS blocking terrain. It’s going to be an uphill battle—there will (at least) be a Cron Air list, massed Thunderwolves with Longfangs, a Forgeworld Space Marine monstrosity (Sicaran Battle Tanks, Mortis Dreadnoughts, and Fire Raptors galore), a Saim-Hann, Tyranid Flying Circus, and so on.

I don’t really have the time or money to bring in a lot of new things and some of the armies will not be cheesy. That said, the game has changed so much that I’m having a hard time recognizing it. Some help would be welcome.

I like it. I would add splinter cannons to the jet fighter. It helps against flyrants. You can get rid of the sails on your gunboats to free up points. I'm not a huge fan of the voidraven or scourges, but they are good units and compliment your army well.
