Corpsethief Claw 1500 list

Hey everyone. This is a new list I have been working. I am kinda trying for a talos/venom list. I am looking for advice and suggestions to make this list better. Thanks

5 Kabalites w/ one blaster in raider w/ dark lance and splinter racks

Fast Attack
5 Scourges w/ 4 Haywire blasters

Heavy
Ravager w/ Enhanced aethersails and 3 dark lance

Corpsesthief Claw- 5 talos w/ 3 haywire blasters, 2 splinter cannons and all with chain flails

I would drop the last warrior squad in the raider and add a ravager with DL. Drop the Sails. If you keep the raider squad, drop the splinter rack

Give the archon a venom if you can find the points

Here's my thought on it. You shouldn't split up what the talos are shooting at each turn. I would remove the chain flails (S7) and instead give them all HWB or SC. I prefer SC with ichor injectors TBH. Remove the kabbys in the raider and just get another venom. I would probably also remove the blasters on the kabbys in the venoms, And try to fit in another Ravager. The scourges will die when they get on the table.

Thanks for the suggestions! I will make adjustments according. If I make the raider a venon/ kabi squad and change the scourges to a ravager...what do I do with my archon transport wise? do I leave him on foot?

Give him a venom and drop the shadow field. An archon with no weapons is hardly a threat. I guess your protecting slay the warlord, but its too expensive. I would just use a Lhamean in a venom

Technically you could forgo having a warlord trait. Fill the HQ slot with a lhamaen in a venom and make one of the talos the warlord. Really hard to kill and won't give up Warlord Kill easily. As a rule of thumb if you have something on foot in a DE army you aren't doing it right haha! It better be inside of a fortification or be able to shoot from cover.

I would give all talos SC, exchange venoms for DL raiders, change Scourges to triple DL Ravager, remove all sails

Is it cheesy to run corpsethieves with a unit of chronos buffing them?

somes run a corpsthieves with a dark artisan, behind, to buff both squads. I don't like it, though, because it's a lot of points in a single area of the map. But some people like it.
