Help me choose.

I like trueborn fine but I like ravagers more for first turn antitank. But I also like the Grots from the first list. Maybe drop a reaver squad in the first list for a ravager? Hmm, I also realized that you don't have any flyers in list 1. That could be a big disadvantage. Honestly, I like a little from both, and would change both into a list that would include incubi, razorwings, ravagers, trueborn, wyches, and grots. Reavers are good, and If you keep them, maybe consider warriors in venoms instead of wyches to save points. I know that doesn't go with your assault theme though. I don't know if this post helped u or confused you.

I like the first list better. Except for the large Wyche squads. Five man Warrior squads in Venoms would probably be more useful and cost effective, but if you're determined to use Wyches, then by all means, go ahead.

As for Flyers, I realized that I have Grotesques, I probably would not need a razorwing as a) Grotesques hit just as hard, and b) more than once.

I was thinking of also using Dark Artisan instead of Grotesquerie. This would give me a mean, tough (but slow) unit, that can dish out plenty of AP2 damage, and Fleshbane to wound monstrous creatures. The Haemy will have a Nightmare Doll and the Cronos would buff it up to 3+ FNP, whilst the Talos have 4+

On the other hand, it gives a good reason for the enemy to take Grav Cents, and I lose one unit that can tank for the rest of my army.

The first list will simply deal with flyers by limiting their angles of attack and just simply tanking it- because DE's native anti-air systems are inadequate by any means.

I disagree. Voidraven is excellent antiair. S9 is S9. :-) I like second list but I would drop the armour on Succy and get Animus. I would also drop 2 incubi and the trueborn and add Fighter Aces upgrade and Dark Lances for Razorwings and heat lances for reavers.
