Commoragh Basing

Hi guys, its been years since I last did WH40K (I previously had the original DE models) but since seeing the new ones I have decided to restart my Kabal. Now im older and a much better painter and modeller, I want to give them a proper base.

I was thinking of making their bases look like the floor of Commoragh itself. I was wondering if you guys had any idea how to do this?

My favorite 3rd party bases for representing Commoragh are the alien temple bases from secret weapon miniatures

Although if you're like me and have more time than money, you can scrath-build  something similar with a couple different thicknesses of plasticard and some steady hands.

Mircoart Studio - Wraithbone bases. Paint them grey and stones black with Gloss Varnish. And you'l have perfect Commoragh bases.
