Dark Eldar Army Breakdown

I recently realised there are a lot of Codex reviews, but there are no reall unit breakdowns out there, after testing. I prepared a series of videos, dedicated to a small analysis/thoughs after several months of extensive unit testing.

I will upload them on my channel and post here whenever I finish another one.

Unit and tactical guides are more useful in written, as opposed to video, formats.

It allows the user to consume the info at their own pace, to refer back to material with no tedious searching, and in general a greater freedom to reference the information.

You're right, btw: there are NO good breakdowns in written format that I'm aware of.

That really depends on one's learning prefference - some are listeners, some are watchers, some are readers, so to each it's own.
Maybe I'll do a written breakdown at some point, when I will have time.

K. Every poll I've seen on the topic shows a strong preference for articles as opposed to vids.

I'd have to agree but I tend to do most of my reading at work where it would be tricky to sit there with headphones on watching a video!

I usually listen to podcasts and commentaries when I paint, so with that in mind I started to film my breakdowns.

I listen to podcasts while I paint as well, but anything that I consider reference material, such as tactica or tutorials, I prefer in article form, so I can refer back to specific points. I find that audio and video often have pacing issues, or are poorly edited, and I don't have the patience for people's "ums" and awkward pauses. If you like the format (and many people do) go for it; this is just my two pain tokens on why I typically won't click on people's videos.

Same! My preference is aural. Podcasts at work (because I can) and youtube at home

As it stands, there's an overwhelming preference for the written word.

I never doubted that, I just made videos, that is all.
