Would you be interested in this competition on the Dark City?

So, I had an idea I wanted to gauge interest in.  After the fiction comp is entirely concluded, I was thinking about possibly running my own competition.  My thought was a unit design competition.

The idea would be that a prompt or theme would be given, and everyone would have a set amount of time to create an entry.  The first phase would be fluff design: background and history of the unit.  The second phase would be rules design.  The third phase would be actually physically constructing/converting the unit, and the fourth phase would be painting the unit.

It'd be a community vote for each category.  Everyone would have their lowest score dropped, and the final winner would be determined by the average of the other three scores.  

Would people be interested?  Is it something folks would enjoy?  Any changes people might recommend?

EDIT: When I say create your own unit, it doesn't mean a whole new unit type. More like a special variant of an existing unit. Like a special character, or the Last Chancers.

You mean inventing our own type of units?

Interesting idea but the skill level required for this kind of thing might make it hard to find participants. My greenstuff skills are very lacking so I would probably really enjoy seeing what others can create on their own while not participating myself.

You wouldn't have to GS anything. You could still design rules and fluff, then convert/paint an existing model. Even if you don't convert anything, you can paint a standard model, take a bath on the conversion score, and still be in the running to win.

I'm Dark Eldar, so I I don't take baths.

I have always wanted to do something like this. Not to get into specifics, but I have had an idea for a character similar to a sslyth that would be so fun to create. The biggest hurdle I have with this is I'm no good at painting. I would enjoy bouncing ideas off of guys though. Count me in

Oh I should have mentioned I'm a terrible painter as well... I'm a loser in this kind of competition. But like I said, I would enjoy living vicariously through the works that would be created by those who have talent.
