What is says on the tin:

Anvil Industries Tox Troopers

Nice looking helmet swaps for Medusae conversions. I'd swap out the bodies for Kabalite or Wych bodies (the trooper bodies would make good chaos cultist models for Nurgle or Alpha Legion IMO so they'd come in handy). With a box of Kabalites you're looking at £30 for a squad of 10 Medusae with only a small amount of work to make them look decent. Hardest thing would be to find enough empty arms or working out how to add chains. Certainly better than spending a fortune on the single pose GW model and having them all look alike. Better still share them with a friend and build 5 each and share the cost Smile

I'm not in a position to try these out as conversions yet. I'm still building up my starter force and there's no room for a court unit yet. But I'm very tempted to roll with these as my go to Medusae option. Would love to see what they might look like if anybody else is feeling inspired!

I just convert witches. Cut the hands and add bone spikes or a blade and an injector at the back.

After that, model some kind of blob brain thingy at the head and add a visor. Not perfect but good enough for me.

Personally for me the Medusae are all about the visor. I think the GW model is ok but I don't like the brain thingy, too space squid for me. I'd rather have more sinister looking models.

I did a bit of research and found that the guy who makes these models is a one-man-band garage operator who sculpts them in limited runs, selling hem where he can. It looks like he's got access to some proper casting forges now and is looking at selling more of his range. I found these on his blog:

I think I'll email the guy because these would be perfect for Medusae for me. Stick some hands on them and chain them up and you have some sinister looking models.
