That response is what I expect for the purpose of the rule against one target and I don't think having the buffmander's bonuses against a single unit are going to be much stronger than just duplicating those buffs through markerlights anyway. What I'm more interested to hear is if there will be a response about target locking off of the target and still having the buffs. I suspect that will not be the ruling in most areas and I think that's the fair call to make. If Tau armies do get that benefit though, it will just make them stronger against some armies but weaker to others. Just takes a new tactical approach and changes the paper, rock, scissors dynamic a bit.
