| He used two thunder fire canons, 5 squads of 5 dudes with heavy Bolter a dreadnought t in drop pod, one venerable one and one walking all with heavy flamers and Assault Cannon or additional heavy flamer for the drop pod one. Three grav centurion in a pod, a stalker and servitor squad with 2 heavy Bolter. He dropped into my five Venom and crushed them one by one. Whereas I struggled to remove his drop pods from the two objectives. Long story short, when my dark Artisan and the Medusae dropped in I wiped his side of the board but it wasn't enough because I failed to liberate my objectives and we ended with a tie because I thought objective secured troops would trump fast attack drop pods or a dreadnought. I'm not playing enough... I tried to upload some pictures but they are too big | |

Unless drop pods are on tactical marines, or an objective secured formation, surely yours would in fact trump drop pods? Let alone dreadnoughts...

| The fast attack drop pod or the one from the dreadnought is objective secured, too just like my Kabalite Warriors and their Venom. Everything in a CAD seems to be objective secured and since he was using one too.... | |

| No. In a cad only troops and there dedicated are objective secured. Now if he was using a gladius strikbforce then every thing is. | |

| If he was using a CAD and not an ObSec Formation, there is no way his FA Pods and Dread Pod were ObSec. Check page 122BRB. CAD provides obSec only for troops. | |

| Are you talking about the combined arms detachments Description? I own the German rule book and it says that all units of this Detachment have the objective secured rule. Could you upload a picture please? | |

| Here a link to the German version saying that all units in that Detachment have this special rule. Are you talking about that page? | |

Something I found online, the English version. Its an old article with an at the time leaked image of objective secured. It states that all "troops units" have ObSec. I read that as only units that qualify as troops for the CAD requirement get the special rule.
Yes I was referring to that page. I don't speak German so I can't help you there. Maybe a translation issue?

| Thanks guys! The German errata is all I need. Now I just have to convince the campaign master to agree with it. He can be some kind of a bitch and unfortunately he's playing on the other side... | |

| Some idiots are arguing that because my opponent didn't know the rules and even I didn't find them at first (didn't realize I had to look for the errata) that HE has the right to feel betrayed because it changed. But we first told everyone in the group I won and only after questions of this guy and my incapability to find the rule he immediately posted that it's a draw.
I'm done and I suggested to just ignore the game and don't count it because I would feel cheated. It's not my fault for them not knowing the rules!
