DFTS heavy list.

So, with the changes to Jink, I'm pretty skeptical of the Ravager providing me AT.  So, with that in mind, I thought maybe some razorwings in some formations would prove better. I'm just not sure exactly what formations to use...

Well, your primary concern when running a list like this is getting tabled, but it looks like you've mitigated that concern as much as possible with your MSU. That said, I'd be a bit concerned as to whether or not the jetfighters would have the firepower to deal with most of the opposition you'll run into, since(I believe, don't have the book) jetfighters BS will be reduced to 3 when firing at ground targets.

Basically, losing all of your ground forces is still considered getting tabled(I think?), even if they don't shoot a single plane, so your planes would have to quickly eliminate the things that could potentially kill your ground units.

Well, yes, I thought that formations would have given the +1 to the bs skill, however, we have no planes that target the ground. Therefore, there is a 50% chance of hitting. However, when you are using Ravagers, most of the time, I see people jink them when they get shot at effectively making them useless. Snap shooting three dark lances for a jink save seems not as good to me as anything else shooting at me needing 6's to strike.

However, I understand your meaning. With the venoms, I'm planning on disembarking the units so they can move off and threat saturate.

With the missiles and the lances, it should be fine...I would think.

Wait...I thought someone mentioned that formations made fliers objective secured, or, am I crazy?

If they hover they are...that would be very cool if we had a flier that filled that role.

That would be an enormous change, as currently zooming/swooping flyers can't score at all. I can't be bothered to research the rules right now, but I think you're considered to be "tabled" even if you have 5 flyers on the table, if all of your ground troops die.

Eek. If that is the case I'm not sure how I feel about that list...I'd rather run a CTC.
