1850 Dark Eldar Mech, DOUBLUS!

So I love Dark Eldar Skimmers, probably like most of you. I've especially always loved the Tantalus. Reading reviews about it has always been a let down however. One just doesn't seem to be enough... so take two! Right?

Take this list, double it and you have 1850. Basically what it boils down to is this...

10xVenoms

That's the Meat of it, nice and simple, and it sounds like a fun shooting phase. Plus you have 8 Obj secured units in 4xWarrior Units and 4x Venoms

So what do you guys think? I actually don't own a Tantalus or have quite this number of Venoms yet (tho I plan to). But yeah, just interested in your opinions. Would buying two Tantalus be a good idea? P

I like this list! I have been using a Tantalus filled with Grots and it is the center of my force. It can be surprisingly hard to kill sometimes with its 5 HP, Jink, and 5++. 2 would indeed be fun to use and could pack a hell of a punch. The only thing I am not a fan of is the Ravagers. I say fill them Tantali up with Grots! Solid list! GL

Haha cool to hear the grots work well. I just feel like they get expensive, and I wouldn't be able to bring two Tantalus. Plus I like the Ravagers just because I have no other Lance weaponry in the list :/

Also the extra target saturation will help, hopefully drawing heavy fire away from the two Tantalus... Or the other way around. For Instance say a ravager is in trouble I could move a tantalus out of cover in hopes of drawing enemy fire, or vice versa.

But yeah, I feel like the list wants to sit back, shoot the crap outta people, while the occasional suicidal Warrior unit in a Venom zooms out to grab an objective in enemy territory. I was thinking of dropping Venoms and adding troops to the empty ones, but this list is more about maximum firepower first.

That list...I love it! so much mobile firepower! a good mix of Anti personnel and anti armour. and an obscene amount of skimmers that all move fast. That list soooo woulda been helpful in the game I had xD if only i had more then one venom...
