| Greetings all. Since I have started my Dark Eldar I have basically been carrying all the models in two boxes with no foam or anything inside, and predictably arms and such break off often. I've been planning on getting a new case for them, so what do you all use to transport your armies fellow Archons? | |

| I use old bank bags. (The bags are canvas, and each one holds three cash boxes, about 12" wide, 36" long, and 6" deep.) I glued some thin sheet metal to the bottom of the boxes and magnetized all my minis. It's pretty great. The ones with the stronger magnets can survive being thrown from a car without shaking loose.
I found four of the bags (so 12 boxes in all) at an auction for $3 each.

| Battlefoam custom cut has been brilliant for my whole army. I have dragged my DE army quite literally around the world in it since 2012 and I have never had a breakage | |

| I second Feldherr. I'm using those and they work perfectly fine. Never had anything broken off. Best thing: the cardboard cases fit into my ikea shelf. | |

| I use KR for everything else, but I use Battlefoam for my Dark Eldar. Despite the reputation of the owner they are excellent cases and their customer service is far superior to another company that shall remain nameless that repeatedly screws up my orders. | |

| I believe the Battlefoam owner has had various issues involving sponsorship/prize support at some large tournaments, including NOVA. | |

| There was a thread a while back on this topic: http://www.thedarkcity.net/t13870-best-transport-options-for-our-fragile-models.
My vote was for BattleFoam. Bought a 1520 XL custom load-out case and couldn't be happier. The only thing i'd say is do custom foam, not the pre-cut templates - you can fit a lot more models on a tray if you make it yourself.

| That's why I use Feldherr like this: (Google Image attached because I'm on my phone and can't include an image right now)

| I've got a GW Crusade case, and I highly recommend them. The only thing it doesn't deal with well are extremely large models and my old school raiders/ravagers. They have too many sharp points in too many directions, and that tears up the foam.
So the raiders end up in a separate cardboard box with foam in it. I didn't glue the platforms to them, so they're pretty easy to pack.
