Culexus Assassin

Hey!

I prefer playing solo dark eldar but I realize ira not always possible.. I have played against a psychic heavy gk army (OK all gk armies are more or less psychic heavy). Those force weapons and purge really ruined my army. My pain engines died fast.. and measured wrong and lost 6 reavers to a purge.. and found out Nova can hit flyers??
Anyway talked with the player afterwards and he said he hates the Culexus Assassin. And I just wonder if anyone have experience using them? And are there any problems having them in an DE army?

No real problems in a DE army besides your typical "one eye open" rule for using desperate allies.

As far as using a Culexus, they only move 6", so most people who use them were previously putting them in an allied drop pod or rhino to get them around(Can't any more if using the new FAQs). Other than that, if you can get them to where they need to be, they're great. But getting them to where they need to be is hard, particularly when the psykers you want them to go after are often on bikes, jetbikes, or have gate of infinity to teleport away from you.

Hmm that is right he is rather slow .. but he can follow some pain engines around. Expensive escort.. the other option is not to use pain engines against gk.
