Smash interpretation rule

Ok ive have read the smash rule a couple of times. The rule says all close combat attacks are ap 2. So my questions is a talos with ichor injector wounds on a 2+ and has the ap2?

Correct.

It is also able to wound on a 2+ against Gargantuan Monstrous Creatures, so can be effective against a Wraithknight.

Yes that is what i understand of the rules. Im only veryfing the facts with more people to see if i understand them correctly

Thing to know, is that if you get Instant Death, you only get D3 wounds, not D3+1 like you would if you hit a 6 with your AP2 attack on a Super Heavy.
