1850 Aspirational List

With conversion work going well on my Grots. & the overall shopping list becoming considerably smaller, I figured it was time I took another look at my aspirational 1850 list & present it below for your consideration:

Points wise the list is pretty tight & hopefully I've managed to stay away from 'wasteful' upgrades, only things I had wanted to squeeze in was maybe the VM or Sump on one of the Haemies, but without dropping a Reaver squad, I can't work out a sensible way.

I'd love to get some thoughts & feedback? I currently own a good 80% of the above & will probably stop collecting pure DE once I have an 1850 I'm happy with, potentially only adding a few more Talos to my collection for a CTC, before I start collecting either 'Quins or CWE for Allies.

Generally, the lists I have seen from you and your suggestions looks fairly solid. With the Grotesquerie and Dark Artisan you have a very solid block of hard hitting and hard to kill models. My concern would be if you have enough left over otherwise.

With the Haemonculus in the Dark Artisan and the Grotesquerie, I would probably go a Lhamaean and Venom instead of the Succubus. I found the Dark Artisan Haemonculus didn't really need the Scissorhand.

Do you have Aberrations with no weapon upgrades? Agonisers or Scissorhands, or saving the points for elsewhere is probably a better idea. I really like Night Shields on the Grotesquerie Raiders, as it makes a big difference to survivability.

My suggested revisions:

Dark Artisan - drop Scissorhand or Ichor Injector (+10 points)

Grotesquerie:
Agoniser Aberration + 2 Grotesques in Raider with Night Shields
3 Grotesques in Raider with Night Shields
Haemonculus Scissorhand
Total 465 points (-45 points)

Swap Succubus for Lhamaean in Venom (+35 points)

With the arrival of the Chronos & Haemy today, the list gets closer to realisation

I think I had the Abbers in for Ramage & was letting the Succubus & Haem's have the AP weapons, after a little re-thinking, I have revised to the following:

1 x Triple Cannon Ravager (110)

Haemonculus, SH (80)
Abber, SH + 2 x Grots, Raider, Aethersails (180)
Abber, SH + 2 x Grots, Raider, Aethersails (180)

HC Dark Artisan (325)
Haemonculus (70)
Chronos, Spirit Probe (125)
Talos, Ichor Injector (130)

Each Grot. squad now gets Aethersails for the 1st turn charge forward, 1st squad led by the Succubus with Glaive, 2nd by Haemy with SH. Both Abbers also now have a SH.
