| Everything is in the title. Can we declare the corpsethieft claw as 1 of the 3 unit deepstrikable with the prince's "sky raider" special rule? | |

| Forgive my ignorance but I can't actually find any rule in the DoM book called 'Sky Raider'. Where is it? | |

| I was having the same problem I'm afraid. Though if you could give them deepstrike I would consider it a poor way to deeploy them. I've found that scout puts most of their guns in range turn 1 and a turn 2 charge is not difficult at all. You are 12 inches up the board on turn 1 after all. That's all of no man's land in every deployment type. | |

| I don't see that rule either, but it might be in the old IA11.
The new FAQ states very clearly that you cannot give formation benefits to battle brothers by adding them to a unit in said formation, and it uses DSing in a Nemesis detachment as an example, so I would say no.

| If it's the Corsair 'Sky Burners' rule that you mean, then that's a formation-only rule. Only for units within the Sky Burners Cotorie.
I also don't think that it confers Deep Strike, only allows units that can already Deep Strike reduced scatter.
Can you attach an IC to a Corpsethief Claw? If so, stick a Haemi with a Webway Portal and away you go!

| I was not aware the book was modified. The rule stated if your army was led by a prince, you could give 3 units in your army the ability to deepstrike. It was not needed to be a unit the prince was in.
I'll sadly check the new book and resign myself to not mow my opponent turn 3.

| Ya, it got updated a year or two back (but didnt change the name or revision number just to make it confusing on us).
ICs cannot join MC units, and you cannot give benefits to your allies (even if battle brothers)

| To reiterate and provide closure as I know precisely what the OP is talking about: That was indeed a special rule from IA11v1 which has been superceded by IA11v2. and is fluffily represented by warp key generators and sky burners in the new book, but which do not work the same. I consider v1 to be outdated beyond the point of us. | |

ICs cannot join MC units, and you cannot give benefits to your allies (even if battle brothers) Sometimes you can give benefits to your allies. Just not Formation benefits.

ICs cannot join MC units, and you cannot give benefits to your allies (even if battle brothers) It was stated it was giving deepstriking to 3 unit in your army. Not your detachment. Anyway, the whole point is irrelevent, now.
